These two exceptional sales will take wine lovers and collectors on a 2-day journey through the heart of HISTORY and TIME! This is a collection made over several decades by a passionate and enlightened connoisseur who has methodically reconstituted no less than NINE VERTICALS of the greatest Bordeaux growths, some of them, like Château Mouton Rothschild, Château Lafite Rothschild, Château Latour, Château Margaux, and Château d'Yquem from the end of the 19th century to 1999 and for others, such as Château Ausone, Château Haut-Brion, Château Cheval Blanc and Pétrus, from the 1940s to 1999.
This superb ensemble, completed by many other great bottles, has been preserved in a magnificent case. A cellar specially built by this perfectionist collector to respect the ideal conditions of conservation, with a perfect and controlled hygrometry and temperature. As a result, the levels and labels are generally in a very good condition for the age of these bottles.
To give you the best opinion, each batch is illustrated with several photos of the front, back and capsule. The wooden crates have been opened as delicately as possible and can be handed over to the buyer in their original state.
To ensure the best conservation of the bottles, all the bottles will be already collated during the public exhibitions and only visible on request to a member of the ACTÉON group or to the expert.
