FIRST EMPIRE. Brass token depicting the coronation of Napoleon Emperor in 1804 AHEAD Title on the obverse: NAPOLEON EMPEROR. Description obverse: Napoleon's head with a laurelled right hand side. REVERSE Title on the reverse: GEKRÖNT D. 23 NOV. 1804 / LAUER IETTON. Reverse description: Victory crowning itself (?) and bringing a crown running on the left. Reverse translation: Crowned on 23 November 1804. This is probably one of the last account tokens produced by Nuremberg.
